The 2998-3 is the third in the series of renditions of the reference 2998. Produced from 1959 to 1962, the 2998 bears straight lugs, an applied Omega logo to the dial, and the celebrated caliber 321 movement. The present lot features a stepped dial, long luminous hour markers with matching luminous hands, and the correct Alpha style hands for the subsidiary dials. Its black aluminum bezel calibrated to 500 units typifies this model as well.
