The Explorer II is a highly reliable tool designed for adventurers, climbers, and scientists. It is built to withstand extreme conditions, including environments where distinguishing between day and night is challenging. The watch features a distinctive 24-hour steel bezel and an additional hand on the dial to indicate the hour of the day. The current example with the white dial, reference 16570, is the third version of the Explorer II, introduced in 1989 and produced for over 22 years. It is preserved in like new condition and comes with its box and papers.
