The Rolex 116520 produced between 2000 and 2002 were subject to a unique dial color change. Over time, the watch's dial would shift from white to an off-white, creamy hue, creating an exceptional phenomenon. Sudden temperature fluctuations could lead to a thin layer of condensation forming on the dial's surface. Prolonged exposure to UV radiation, such as sunlight, could then cause this layer to oxidize, resulting in the color change. This occurrence is rare and has only been observed in a few 116520 examples.
