Tiffany & Co. was established in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany, it became a prestigious luxury retailer in the U.S. Known for its historic relationship with watches. In the mid 1950s, Tiffany became one of the few retailers allowed to print its logo on Rolex dials.
The present example of the 6263 is a rare treasure to come by. Not only known for its acrylic bezel and screw down pushers, the present example features a "Big Red" configuration on the dial, which can be identified for the enlarged red Daytona text on 6 o'clock. Furthermore stamped with the "Tiffany & Co" logo underneath the Cosmograph text, the present watch is exceptionally sought after. Opportunities to acquire such a double stamped Daytona is infrequent, making it a prized addition for any collection.
The present watch further retains a warranty from Tiffany & Co. and a turquoise presentation box, making it highly desirable for the collector.
