With two balance wheels beating in sync, F. P. Journe is the first watchmaker in the industry to employ the use of the resonance phenomenon onto the use case of a wristwatch, enhancing the accuracy of his timepieces. The present iteration of the Resonance, "RQ", Resonance Quatre was introduced in 2020 and incorporates another complication onto the movement, namely the constant force mechanism, further elevating the reliability of the movement.
The present example is forged in pink gold and fitted with an elegant, pink salmon coloured dial, crafted in pink gold as well. The case back reveals the breathtaking and lavish pink gold movement, including the balance wheels and the constant force devices. Staying true to its roots, the legacy of the Resonance collection is inherited by this newest addition.
