· gilded dial highly decoratively pierced and engraved with flowers and foliage against a polished plate, silver chapter ring with Turkish hour numerals infilled with black wax, later added pearls, stylised fleur-de-lys half-hour markers filled with red wax, black quarter hour divisions, turned steel baluster hand

· gilt-metal oval case, the covers symmetrically arranged with lozenges decorated with polychrome enamel painted flowers, gilt metal pendant of stylised Corinthian capital-form, shutter-form aperture for winding to back
