Johann Lorenz Wernberger, b. 1700, master 1729, and died 1767, was a prolific maker of secular silver, also noted for a spice tower in the Heckal Shlomo, Sir Isaac and Lady Edith Wolfson Museum, Jerusalem, 950-32-10, and a Torah shield in the Israel Museum, 148/20, 18a N, 2671-6-50.
