Jean-Nicolas Méo says this wine 'dominated the cellar' since its childhood and I can quite believe it. Musky, smoky bouquet, with notes of eucalyptus. Rosy, smoky fruit flavours. All-enveloping - simply melts in the mouth at the same time as being enormous. Great, gummy wine. Huge personality which demands instant attention! In 2015 and from Jeroboam, spicy and plummy on the nose and all cherries, liquorice and velvet on the palate. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
