Description

Château Mouton Rothschild 2013

Pauillac, 1er Cru Classé

Excellent level and appearance, embossed metal capsule

Label Artist: Lee Ufan

Approximately 30hl/hectare. 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc. 85% new wood. 47% of production went into the grand vin. A lovely, classy, multi-dimensional nose, almost 'Burgundian' and a mite 'marine'. Incredible salty chocolate tastes, fresh, pure and bursting with health and beauty. Vanillin at the end. Remarkable wine by any standards, and well-nigh miraculous in the context of the vintage. Right at the top of the tree this year. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

1 imperial - 6 litres (owc)
