Description

Château Angélus 2006

St. Emilion, 1er Grand Cru Classé (A)

Excellent level and appearance, plain metal capsule

62% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Franc. In 2015, a lovely, real bordelais "cedary" nose, with Merlot plums too. Enormous flavoury impact on the palate, violetty and even a bit "iodé". Marked tannic structure. Not ultimate ripeness, but appetising crisp fruit. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

1 d.mag - 3 litres (owc)
