45% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, 20% Meunier. In 2019, this is a beautiful, generous Krug, a perfect expression of the house, in one of the hottest years in Champagne, with its rain in August and sun for the harvest. Brioche and toast on the nose, with the lovely Meunier giving the vivacity on the palate. Nougat flavours, with a touch of orange at the end. It is already so 'easy to drink', would one have the opportunity on a regular basis! Serena Sutcliffe, MW
