In 2022, this is sensational, as it was from its inception. Starting with the depth of colour and then it is unbelievably rich, with camphor and cedar wood on the nose. Like diving into velvety liquorice on the palate. Stunning, opulent and with irony richness, expanding in the mouth as you drink. The great breed of the cru, allied to an almost 'Russian leather' flavour. If ever there were a wine that satisfies all the senses, this is it. I still think it could be the best wine of the vintage.
