At 30 years old and from magnum, this has the profound vinosity to be splendid with food - we had scallops and smoked bacon and it seemed spot on. Nougatine and strawberries dominate, with the structure now dissolved into a certain sweet ripeness. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

Provenance:

The cellar of a gentleman collector, featuring four decades of Petrus, Lafite and Mouton Rothschild, alongside many other Bordeaux wonders. The collection also showcases the love of the owner for Italy's finests, including a comprehensive selection of Sassicaia, Masseto, Ornellaia and Tignanello. All the wines have been acquired from UK and European reputable wine merchants and recently removed for a temperature-controlled private cellar.

Cave d’un collectionneur privé présentant quatre décennies de Petrus, Lafite et Mouton Rothschild, ainsi que d'autres merveilles bordelaises. La collection met également en valeur la passion du propriétaire pour les plus grand vins italiens, notamment une sélection complète de Sassicaia, Masseto, Ornellaia et Tignanello. Tous les vins ont été acquis auprès de cavistes réputés au Royaume-Uni et en Europe et ont récemment été transférés depuis une cave privée à température contrôlée.
