This was always bound to be a winner, given the quality of Pomerol in this vintage which is increasingly evident with each tasting. Everything is in this - it is a very big wine. Exotic and yet pure, truffley and yet classic, this is beautifully delineated Petrus and an incredible, and worthy, comparison with the 2000.
