In 2023, an astounding deep, rich colour, as is the bouquet which is all-embracing blackcurrant, great terroir Pauillac. Liquid opulence and textural lusciousness, plus the ripest tannins at a voluptuous, lush peak. So 2009 - and so grand vin. There is an exoticism here that is utterly alluring and very Super Second. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
