St. Emilion, 1er Grand Cru Classé (B)


80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. 100% new barrels. Only 20 hl/ha made. Huge richness - a great velvety wine. Utterly splendid. In 2013, a wonderfully complex, intense nose of enormous interest. Terrific wine of immense volume and flavour. Amazing glycerol and black fruit. "Grandiose". In 2014, a great aromatic nose. Terrific impact, fullness of flavour and acidity balance on the palate. Huge and juicy. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

-         to an address in London: £35 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover;

-         to a UK address outside of London (excluding Ireland and Scotland): £45 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover.

Sotheby’s cannot arrange or take responsibility for shipments to non-UK buyers, but will be pleased to introduce them to a forwarding agent.
