70% Tinto Fino, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot. Very 'classic' nose, young, fresh and healthy. Walnutty, quite mineral taste. So much body, but the texture is fine-grained. Very crisp, with a finish of walnut liqueur and a touch of chocolate. Another bottle had a lovely complex, complicated bouquet and taste, with every sip revealing another aspect. Very solid, firm and full of body, with a great peppermint after-flavour. In 2013, the peppermint is there on the nose. Terrific sweetness, volume and body on the palate. Very great wine and an absolute star in the firmament of Vega Sicilia. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
