The Panerai PAM502 was introduced at Watches&Wonders in 2013. It is the first chronograph of the 1940 range and it was available either in white or in pink gold, such as the present example.

Further to be highly complicated, with a chronograph, 8-day power reserve and GMT functions, the calibre P.2004 was improved with a three-quarter plate and skeletonized barrel and was, therefore, renamed P2004/10. It was welcomed as the most attractive looking movement made by Panerai, with a lot of attention dedicated to hand-finished anglages.

The case is typical of the production of the brand, with the improvement of the case back being for the first time decorated with a relief text.

The brown sunburst finish dial has a typical sandwich construction with luminescent material underneath.

The pink gold PAM502 was produced as a limited edition of 300 pieces.
