Shawn Carter, known as Jay-Z, has been a renowned watch collector and tastemaker for many years.

In 2013, he produced in collaboration with Hublot a limited edition of the Classic Fusion. The fact that he named it after his real name shows how personal this project was to him.

The Shawn Cartier logo is directly cut out into the dial, revealing the thin HUB1300 manual winding movement. Shawn Carter's name is also indicated at the top of the dial and repeated on the case back.

The case has a diameter of 45mm, combined with the contained thickness, it offers an extremely appealing ratio and comfort on the wrist.

The Classic Fusion Shawn Carter was produced as a limited edition of 250 pieces in black ceramic and 100 pieces in yellow gold and was originally offered at the pop-up installation 'A New York Holiday' at Barney's in New York.
