Dial: silver champlevé, the lower half of the dial with chased and embossed figured of Venus and Cupid, large aperture with rotating disc divided into day and night, the hours indicated on an outer arched chapter ring with Roman numerals heightened with black wax, the daytime hours indicated by a golden sun with pointer, the night hours indicated by a silver moon with pointer surrounded by silver stars, all against a blued steel sky, outer Arabic minute ring, single blued steel hand in the form of a branch, aperture for date on a gilded disc at the base

Movement: verge escapement with cock pierced and engraved with monster heads and fruit, quadrangular baluster to pillars
