The Royal Oak is unanimously viewed as one of the most significant wristwatch designs to ever see light. Since 1972, the legendary sport-chic watch saw a multitude of variations come to life, including a stunning chronograph version such as the present piece.

The Royal Oak Chronograph was introduced in 1997, under the reference 25860. The timepiece was available in different variations and was mostly produced with a blue dial, such as the present lot.

Notably, this reference gained fame when chess Grandmaster Garry Kasparov wore it during his matches, earning the affectionate nickname "Kasparov" among collectors who admire its association with the strategic master.

This watch is offered in attractive condition, complete with its certificate of origin and original presentation box.
