In 2007, IWC introduced the Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph Top Gun, marking a significant moment in the brand's pilot watch legacy. With over 70 years of experience in crafting aviation timepieces, IWC exceeded expectations with this 46mm matt black ceramic watch featuring titanium accents and the subtle U.S. Navy Top Gun emblem. Powered by the refined Calibre 79230, derived from the Valjoux 7750 movement, the watch boasted a double chronograph function and magnetic resistance. Its sleek black dial, featuring recessed chronograph registers, luminous markers, and a red fighter-jet-shaped chronograph hand. The IW379901 was a limited production until 2011 and remains a sought-after model, leading to the expansion of IWC’s Top Gun line in 2012.
