The 16713 was introduced in 1989 and remained in production until 2007. While its stainless steel cousin, the 16710, was only available with the black dial, the two-tone version was presented either with a brown or the traditional black dial, such as the present lot, and even some diamond and ruby-set indexes. The reference received various upgrades during its almost twenty-year run, including a new calibre as well as the transition from Tritium to Luminova and subsequently to SuperLuminova. Dating circa 1998, this specimen is fitted with the correct and rare "Swiss only" dial, that was only produced for two years. Furthermore, it is preserved in good condition and has retained its original sticker on the caseback, making it an appealing opportunity.
