Of rectangular shape, onyx engraved with floral motifs and enhanced with a carved jade depicting a paradise bird suspended to a black grosgrain ribbon flanked by motifs of Chinese inspiration millegrain-set with rose-cut diamonds, open to reveal a mirror, a powder compartment and a lipstick holder, measurements 60x45x16mm approximately, French mark for gold and maker's mark for Strauss Allard Mayer, 1920 circa. Accompanied by gemological report

(Di forma rettangolare, in onice, inciso con motivi floreali e impreziosito da una giada intagliata raffigurante un uccello del paradiso, sospeso ad un nastro nero di grosgrain e affiancato da motivi d' ispirazione cinese in diamanti di taglio a rosa, all'interno uno specchio, uno scomparto per la cipria e un porta rossetto, misure 60x45x16mm approssimative, punzoni francesi dell'oro e dell'orafo per Strauss Allard Mayer. 1920 circa. Accompagnato da certifcato gemmologico.)
