A Fabergé Imperial presentation jewelled varicoloured gold and gunmetal cigarette case, workmaster August Hollming, St Petersburg, 1904-1908

The body reeded on a diagonal, the cover applied with a gunmetal anchor interlaced with the diamond-set Imperial crowned cypher for Grand Duke Alexei Alexandrovich (1850-1908), with an oval cabochon sapphire thumb-piece, with its original orange tinder cord, struck to the interior and the tinder cord loop with work master's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 56 standard.
