Sotheby’s are a trusted authority on the sale of Royal fashion and have previously held two world records for the highest price achieved for Royal Fashion ever sold at auction: Princess Diana’s ‘sheep’ sweater by Warm & Wonderful, 1981 ($1.1M, sold September 2023), which exceeded the previously set record achieved by her Victor Edelstein ballgown, 1989 ($604,800, sold January 2023).
