2024 June #09. Shimmer of yester-moments, caught in the surf's embrace, houses hold fast to cliffs, ancient guardians of this place. Waves etch the sands of now, shaping shores anew, memories flicker in the foam, history's residue. Arms stretch, seeking origins, where sea and sky commune, roots and branches, lives entwined, a silhouette at noon. Colors bleed from ages past, a canvas time has worn, persistence in the face of flux, life's fabric torn and reborn. Thoughts adrift on temporal tides, pulled by destiny's lure, each crest a birth, each through a close, in cycles that endure. Shadows dance upon the waves, spirits' fleeting trace, passages of fleeting breath, space within the interlace. Echoes tethered to creation, whispers of the prime, The constant churn of earth and air, sculpting the sublime. With each ebb and resonant flow, we glimpse the unseen chord, binding us to what has been, and what will be restored.

One of the early photographic works that has generated excitement in Botto’s works. This piece was first highlighted by community members in the 2nd round of the Temporal Echoes Period and reappeared weekly as a contender until a concerted campaign brought it to be the winner in the 10th round. The landscape is distorted by a lens flare, upon a closer reflection it can be interpreted as a shape of young boy or girl.
