Ven House in Milborne Port, Somerset is a Grade I listed manor house, originally built in 1698-1700 and enlarged in 1725-30 for James Medlycott (c.1658-1731), a wealthy lawyer and Whig MP. Further alterations and enlargements were carried out by Thomas Cubitt and Decimus Burton in 1835-36. The house descended in the Medlycott family until sold in 1957 and has had multiple owners since then.
