The present bust depicts a warrior dressed all'antica with a plumed helmet and lion-head epaulets. Although the identity of the man remains unknown, the aforementioned military-dress is used in depictions of various historical and mythological figures, including Mars, the Roman God of War, and Alexander the Great.
