Description
The sides chased and pierced with four dragons among clouds, the top with a presentation inscription, containing a photograph of workers at the Peking-Mukden Railway, marked on the reverse for very pure silver and also workshop mark.
Height 30cm., 15¼in.
The current lot was presented to the engineer Douglas Oswald Bates who oversaw the construction of the Peking-Mukden Railway.
