each unframed: 66.6 x 96 cm.; 26¼ x 37¾ in.

each framed: 75.8 x 105.7 cm.; 29⅞ x 41⅝ in.

Where acquired by the uncle and aunt of the present owner, April 1996, for 300,000 French francs;

Thence by descent.

A comparable painting, that appears to have been executed by the same hand, sold at Bonhams London earlier this year for £25,600.1
