A similar box, of a smaller size, in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, is illustrated in Ming Wilson, Chinese Jades, London, 2004, no. 58, pp 56-57; two similar examples, formerly in the Matthiessen Collection, are now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (acc. nos 04.6.26a, b; 04.6.16a, b). Compare also two related pieces, both sold at Christie's New York, 29th June 2021, lot 108, and 23rd March 2023, lot 925.
