A drawing of two Sillhouettes ("Pilldoctor")
157 x 224mm. (frame 458 x 402mm.), pen and ink, with white gouache highlights, with two manuscript captions, mounted, framed, and glazed, foxing, some chips to frame
"Rackham was a master of pen and ink sillhouettes. It was a technique eagerly embraced by publishers especially after the war since the costs of printing in just black and white were greatly reduced.... [Rackham] even lectured on the technique at the London Art Workers' Guild in 1919" (Engen).
