binding: Eighteenth-century Venetian armorial binding (327 x 240 mm), red morocco, wide gilt floral border, gilt arms of Foscarini, in center, spine elaborately gilt, spine with raised bands in seven compartments, gilt-lettered black morocco label to second, others with overall filigree and acorn pattern in gilt, edges gilt. (Restoration to spine, split to head of spine, rubbed with a few bumps and stains.)
