Folio (299 x 200 mm). Roman and Greek type, 54 lines plus headline. collation: A-K8 L4 M-P8 (K8 a blank): 116 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title-page and final verso, spiral in early ink to upper corner of K5. (Restoration to lower corners of P7-8 scattered foxing, a few stray stains.)

 

binding: Early nineteenth-century dark brown morocco (310 x 217 mm), covers with gilt Greek key border around sides, spine with raised bands in six compartments, second and third gilt-lettered, others with gilt floriate ovals, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers. (Somewhat worn and scuffed.)
