16mo (123 x 70 mm). Italic type, 29 lines plus headline. collation: a-y8: 172 leaves. Woodcut printer’s device on title-page, ruled in red. (Title-page with washed inscription and slightly trimmed at foot, lightly browned.)


binding: Contemporary French panel-stamped interlaced calf gilt (127 x 80 mm), interlacing painted black within a white outer frame, centre decorated with stippled paint, spine with small gilt fleuron in compartments, gilt edges. (Foot of spine repaired, small repairs to corners, small cracks in joints.)
