Donovan Mitchell, known for his explosive scoring and dynamic on-court presence, has solidified his position as a pivotal player for the Cleveland Cavaliers. 

After being selected as the 13th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Mitchell quickly made his mark with the Utah Jazz, demonstrating remarkable athleticism and an exceptional ability to lead the team's offense. Following a 2022 trade to the Cleveland Cavaliers, in the 2022-2023 season, Mitchell cemented himself as one of the league’s premiere scorers. On January 2nd, 2023, Mitchell scored 71 points against the Chicago Bulls, becoming just the 7th player in NBA history to score 70 or more in a single game. In addition to this record, it was the most points scored by an NBA player since the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant scored 81 against Toronto in 2006. 

At the time of cataloging, Mitchell has career averages of 24.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. He is a 5-time NBA All-Star and a 2022-2023 All-NBA Second Team selection. Mitchell was also the 2018 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion.
