Bennedict Mathurin had quite the All-Star Weekend. On Friday night, he won MVP of the Panini Rising Stars after leading Team Jalen to win the mini tournament against the best young stars in the NBA and G-League. The following night he was part of the winning team again, as Team Pacers cruised along to win the Kia Skills Challenge. Mathurin was a huge factor, making big shots, weaving through obstacles, and making accurate passes in each round in a victory that electrified the home crowd. He will look to keep the momentum going with his Pacers teammates to make a playoff push. 

Bennedict Mathurin was drafted with the 6th pick in the 1st round of the 2022 NBA Draft out of The University of Arizona. At the time of cataloging, he has career averages of 15.7 points per game, 4.1 rebounds per game, and 1.7 assists per game. 

Mathurin was a member of the 2022-2023 NBA All-Rookie Team.
