Pair of enamel and gold cufflinks, Miller, circa 1945 and a gold pendant, circa 1928


Comprising: a pair of gold cufflinks, the terminals spelling out the years 1895 and 1945 in blue and red enamel, signed Miller, fitted case stamped Miller; and a pendant designed as an intertwined P and R, inscribed '1. VIII. 1928.'.

This pair of cufflinks commemorates the fiftieth birthday of Albrecht Eugen, Duke of Württemberg (1895-1954).


The pendant featuring the initials P and R was given to guests as a souvenir at the wedding of Philipp Albrecht, Duke of Württemberg (1893-1975) and Archduchess Rosa of Austria (1906-1983) celebrated at Schloss Friedrichshafen on 1 August 1928.
