Gem set and diamond bracelet, Köchert, circa 1893


The curb-link chain interspersed with medallions set with a circular-cut diamond and diamond of brown tint, a cushion-shaped sapphire, ruby and emerald respectively, each within a border of cushion-shaped diamonds, length approximately 190mm, unsigned, maker's mark for Köchert, Austrian assay mark for gold


Please note that the diamond of brown tint has not been tested for natural colour origin.

Princess Marie Louise of Bourbon-Parma, Princess Consort of Bulgaria (1870-1899)

In 1893, this bracelet was given by Robert I, Duke of Parma (1848-1907) to his eldest daughter Princess Marie Louise of Bourbon-Parma on the occasion of her marriage to Ferdinand I, then still sovereign Prince, later Tsar of Bulgaria.
