Few athletes have had a greater cultural impact than Allen Iverson.

Whether it was his patented crossover, myriad tattoos, signature cornrows, or iconic press conferences, Iverson left his mark on the game and inspired an entire generation of players.

Sotheby’s is proud to present this Denver Nuggets jersey worn by Allen Iverson in four games during the 2006-2007 NBA season. Iverson wore this jersey in the following games:

  • 12/29/2006 - Nuggets fell 99-89 to the New Orleans Hornets. Iverson recorded 21 points, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds.

  • 1/5/2007 - Nuggets fell 123-104 to the Los Angeles Lakers. Iverson recorded 16 points, 5 assists, and 1 rebound.

  • 1/14/2007 - Nuggets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 109-93. Iverson recorded 32 points, 9 assists, and 3 rebounds in the win.

  • 1/20/2007 - Nuggets defeated the Houston Rockets 121-113. Iverson recorded 36 points, 10 assists, and 3 rebounds.

Across these four games, Iverson scored 105 points, dished out 27 assists, and pulled down 9 rebounds.

In December 2006, Iverson was traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Denver Nuggets where he would team up with Carmelo Anthony for two seasons. In the 2006-07 season, Iverson averaged 26.3 points, 7.2 assists, and 3 rebounds per game and was named to his 8th consecutive All-Star Game.

An 11-time All-Star, 7-time All-NBA selection, and 4-time Scoring Champion, Iverson notably won league MVP honors following the 2000-01 season when he led the 76ers to the NBA Finals. After a 17-year career, Iverson last appeared in the NBA in 2010. He was enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016 and later named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team as one of the 75 greatest players in NBA history.
