70% Mourvèdre. Smells almost like Screaming Eagle! Crushed wild strawberries and violets. Liquorice notes. Smoky leather and cherries. Touch of bacon rind. Great tannic structure, especially against the '99 straight Beaucastel. Like eating cherries from the tree. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
