Kabuto [helmet]:

The sixty-two-plate russet iron bowl with raised ridges, terminating in a five-stage tehen kanamono of typical chrysanthemum form, russet iron mabisashi [peak], black lacquer fukugaeshi [turnbacks] applied with copper-gilt mon, the four-tiered gold lacquer shikoro [neck guard] with close-spaced variegated lacing in orange and purple braid

Mempo [face mask]:

The red lacquered iron ressei mempo [face mask with fierce expression] with flared nostrils, open mouth and deep wrinkles, detachable nose plate, gold lacquer teeth, red lacquer interior, three-tiered gold lacquer yodaregake [throat protector] laced in matching braid

Do [cuirass]:

The gold lacquered iron cuirass constructed in honkozane [true lamellae] and hinged in two pieces, seven tassets of five-tiered kusazuri [skirt], all components with close-spaced lacing in orange and purple braid

Sode, kote [shoulder guards and sleeves]:

Six-tiered gold lacquer shoulder guards lacing in matching braid, chainmail hyotan-gote [sleeves with gourd-shaped, embellishments], silk lining

Haidate, sune-ate [thigh protectors and shin guards]:

Five-tiered gold lacquer thigh protectors decorated in light pigment with hinomaru [sun discs], shino-suneate [shin guards formed with iron splints]
