The dish, gracefully potted with six bracket lobes resembling a blossoming flower, is extremely rare among celadons from the Yaozhou kilns in Shaanxi. Unlike the southern kilns of Longquan in Zhejiang, where floral-shaped dishes were popular in the Southern Song and Yuan dynasties, Yaozhou undecorated celadons were uncommon after the 10th century.

此盤巧作六瓣菱花式，曼妙可人，乃陝西耀州窰珍罕之品。耀州素紋花式器，縱然雅致，十世紀後極為僅 見，有別於南方浙江龍泉窰所出大宗，後者南宋普及、蒙元延燒，珍罕之況，不能相提並論。
