Description

stamped and chased with scrolls and foliage, the ribs hung with bells hung from beaks of swans and doves, applied with a band of menorahs and lion-flanked shields, all topped by a crown enclosing a bell and set with colored paste on crown and base, the shields with Hebrew inscriptions in honor of the Torah, marked throughout


Height: 15 1/2 in., 38 cm

The plaque inscriptions read: “Crown of the Torah,” “Crown of Priesthood,” “Crown of Royalty,” and “To elevate the house of God.”
