of shallow rounded form with an everted rim, on a short foot, composed of fritware painted with cobalt blue and sage green against a white ground under a transparent glaze, the well decorated with encircling stylised birds on a floral rosette ground bordered by foliate bands, collection label and inventory numbers on reverse, with old repairs
