60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay. 16% went through malolactic fermentation. What an example of old vines on chalk, precise but also approachable, with similarities to 1996, but better, probably because they picked a week later. In 2019, the bouquet has become more nutty - cherry kernels. This had more time on the lees than the 1996, which gives the unbelievably full taste, superb texture, plus flavours of hazelnuts, lemons and yuzu. An almost eternal finish - hallmark Cristal. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

All bottles in this collection have been purchased either direct from the respective Domaines via allocation or from only the most reputable UK merchants and have been carefully cellared in professional temperature-controlled bonded storage.

-         to an address in London: £35 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover;

-         to a UK address outside of London (excluding Ireland and Scotland): £45 for the first 10 cases, plus £10 for any additional case, plus VAT and Sotheby’s Transit Care cover.
