This work is a reduced replica of the portrait of Giuseppa Carcano, Marquise Visconti di Borgorato, in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. RF 520).

Cette œuvre est une reprise en réduction du portrait de Giuseppa Carcano, marquise Visconti di Borgorato conservé dans les collections du musée du Louvre à Paris (inv. RF 520).

Le portrait représente la marquise de profil, tournant la tête vers la gauche. Elle est vêtue d'une robe blanche à décolleté et manches courtes ornées de dentelle, avec une ceinture nouée autour de sa taille et une écharpe blanche dans la main droite.
