Originally released in 1985, Dunks have become one of the most iconic sneaker styles of all time. This model was originally released in several colorways, known as the ‘Be True to Your School Pack’ which was inspired by some of the top universities across the country. This influential pack has been a repeated commercial success for Nike, who has re-released the famed colorways multiple times since its original drop.

This pair features a two-tone colorway inspired by the University of Iowa and is one of the most coveted colorways from the ‘Be True’ pack. Premium black leather was used for the toe box, quarter panels, and collars, while black nylon is used on the tongue. Goldenrod was used for the Swoosh, panels, and accents on the tongue and sock liner. The 1999 edition has ‘NYC’ embroidered in black on the heel and tounge tag.
