Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium 'Viotech' Sample | Size 9

Said to draw inspiration from the Air Max collaboration with Japanese retailer Atmos, these Nike Air Force 1’s ‘Viotech’ follow a similar color scheme to the earlier collaboration. Produced in 2021, the silhouette features a predominantly khaki and brown suede upper with white leather detailing on the heels. Unique to the collaboration is the hint of gold on the metallic embroidered mini Swoosh, solo Swoosh on the back heel, and the tongue branding. The side Swoosh is finished in a bold purple leather. Never released and only existing as a sample, these are highly sought after by collectors.

Previously realized in running shoes, the introduction of Nike’s ‘Air’ technology in the midsole was a revolutionary concept for basketball sneakers. Tasked with bringing the concept to life, designer Bruce Kilgore and an aerospace engineer brought the project to fruition with a hiking boot-inspired, ankle strapped, high top. Kilgore’s first basketball sneaker, the Air Force 1 was brought to market in 1982.
